Three years after a previous construction project went awry, leaving the owner of this Fells Point rowhouse without a kitchen or first floor bathroom, 33:Design was brought in to design a new rear addition to restore the kitchen and bathroom, while also incorporating a laundry room. Working with a limited budget and within the footprint of the previous construction, the design uses cost-effective materials to create a warm and inviting space. Windows are strategically located to bring in lots of natural light while addressing the owner’s security concerns. The end result is a small, yet highly functional addition.

Airy, light-filled and affordable.
