As part of a comprehensive master plan for the reorganization and renovation of a beloved Hampden institution, 33:Design focused on opportunities to improve customer flow, consolidate operations, and increase opportunities for public engagement. Key considerations included the need to minimize disruptions to business, and to phase construction to take place in discrete, self-contained projects.

In coordination with the long-term vision, several projects have been completed, including: upgrades to the wine storage area and alley frontage; the creation of modular carts for tasting events and on-floor help stations; and the transformation of the growler service counter from a back-of-house afterthought into a central, social hub.
